USA Powerlifting sanction #PA-2024-07

Game day: May 4th and May 5th 2024

Venue: PWRBLD Gym, 1661 Easton Road Warrington, PA 18976

This is a USA Powerlifting sanctioned meet produced by Warhorse Barbell Club and PWRBLD Gym. This is two day event with two platforms.

This meet is open to all current PA USA Powerlifting members. Lifters are required to have a PA ID for check-in. 

If you are a youth or teen lifter a parent or guardian must show proof. Anyone under 18 must bring a parent or legal guardian to weigh-ins.

GUEST LIFTERS: Everyone from outside of PA must enter as a guest lifter. Guest lifters may set state and American records and may earn a qualifying total for a national meet. 

This is a drug tested meet. Anti-doping policy and information can be found here. 

REGISTRATION: Standard Entry (November 3rd – December 3rd) $160.00

Late Entry (December 4th – March 10th) $200.00

Extra Division: $40.00

ALL ENTRIES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.

Lifters can change their weight class at any time. Please email Chris@warhorsebarbellclub.com if you need to make any adjustments.

Awards

Awards for this meet will be given to the Top 3 Men and Top 3 Women in each division based on DOTS in RAW FULL POWERLIFTING only.

This event will be held within the PWRBLD Gym and spectators will need to purchase a ticket to enter the event (lifters will not).

Day 1, 20 June: All Women

Day 2, 21 June: Men 52.0 kg, 56.0 kg, 60.0 kg, 67.5 kg, 75.0 kg, 82.5 kg

Day 3, 22 June: Men 90.0 kg 100.0 kg, 110.0 kg, 125.0 kg, 140.0 kg, SHW

DRUG TESTING:
Drug testing by urinalysis. Drug Testing will be a 10% targeted selection based on the top DOTS scores. Drug Tests will take place at the end of each day. If selected you must submit a sample. If you do not submit a sample it will count as a failed Drug Test. Drug tests will be announced shortly after the last Deadlift of the day and results have been calculated.

Eligibility: Eligibility: Any male or female 13 years or older. Lifters must be current NPL members. Good for one year from the date of purchase. Must purchase online before the meet.

This is a tested meet. State, National, and World records can be set.

Divisions: Open, Junior 13-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-23, Sub-master 35-39, Master 40-44, 45-49, etc

Mens’ Weight Classes: 52.0 kg, 56.0 kg, 60.0 kg, 67.5 kg, 75.0 kg, 82.5 kg, 90.0 kg 100.0 kg, 110.0 kg, 125.0 kg, 140.0 kg, SHW

Womens’ Weight Classes: 44.0 kg, 48.0 kg, 52.0 kg, 56.0 kg, 60.0 kg, 67.5 kg, 75.0 kg, 82.5 kg, 90.0 kg, 100 kg, 110 kg,  SHW

Rules: One-piece singlet must be worn, as a minimum for all lifters. Underwear must be “V” type legless aka “tighty whities”, or jockstrap. No compression shorts or spandex allowed.

Sleeves division: requires a one piece singlet, and allows 4 inch wide buckle or lever belt (No velcro belts or padding on the inside of the belt), wristwraps can be up to 1 meter, and single layer kneesleeves. Over the calf long socks required for the deadlift for all lifters.

Wraps Division: Is raw except it allows up to 3 meter kneewraps for the squat.

Single Ply rules: Single-Ply squat, bench, and deadlift suits only! No velcro straps on the squat/deadlift suit. Velcro is allowed on the bench shirt, but must close the back completely- no open-back shirts. No velcro straps allowed on squat or deadlift suit. No support briefs allowed in single ply.

Multi Ply rules: Multi-Ply division allows multi-ply squat, bench shirts and deadlift suits along with open back shirts and Velcro straps for the DL suit.

A 30kg bar and collar set will be used for all squat and a 25kg bar and collar set will be used for bench and deadlift. Texas Bars will be brand used.

Early Weigh-in/Gear Check – Day 1 6/19, 9:00AM-11:00 AM evening early weigh-ins will be 4:00PM-6:00PM at the meet venue

Day 2 6/20, 9:00AM-11:00 AM evening early weigh-ins will be 4:00PM-6:00PM at the meet venue

Day 3 6/21, 9:00AM-11:00 AM evening early weigh-ins will be 4:00PM-6:00PM at the meet venue

**NO SAME DAY WEIGH IN**

Rules Briefing/Warm Ups: 8AM

Lifting Begins : 9AM

Awards and Drug test:  4PM

Awards:

Open: 1st – 3rd place in each weight class
Junior 13-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-23: 1st – 3rd place in each weight class/age group
Submaster 35-39: 1st – 3rd place in each weight class/age group
Master 40-44, 45-49, etc.: 1st – 3rd place in each weight class/age group

Best Lifter: Any Division with 5+ lifters will receive an award. Mens best lifter Awards will be anounced on Saturday after all men have lifted.

Entry Fee: $160per lifter, add $30 if entering additional division (Open + JR = 2 awards)

Payment: Payment of entry fees will be done via PayPal. You will be redirected to PayPal to submit your entry after completing your registration details. Entries will not be considered final until your payment has been received.

**REFUND POLICY**
Please take notice that once payments are taken there is a $25 dollar processing fee for a refund. With in 30 days of the event all payments are final there will be no refunds. At all time entries are non transferable to any future events under any circumstances. There is no refund on t-shirts orders at anytime.

Registration Deadline: May 23rd, 2024. There will be a $25.00 late fee after this date. No entries will be accepted after June 1st, 2024.
